Michael Afanasyev has been representing sellers in Brooklyn for over 10 years. He graduated college with degrees in linguistics and literature, but later decided to pursue a career in real estate. Michael has been working with Sal and Michael Calabrese since 2000. In 2005 and 2006 he received Centurion Agent awards. He joined RE/MAX Metro, after the office opened in 2008. In February of 2009 Michael has been recognized with the Hall of Fame Award for his professional achievements.

When Michael is not selling real estate, he is spending time with his wife and two sons. He enjoys activities centered on family, school, friends, church and athletics. His current hobbies include traveling, reading, alpine skiing, soccer, volleyball and completing home improvement projects.
